IT Support Specialist I
Department: IT - Desktop Support
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada - Corporate Headquarters
Reporting To: Supervisor of Client Services
Description
Key Responsibilities
• Works with different teams to help new employees join and existing ones leave smoothly.
• Provides initial support to employees, fixing hardware issues and keeping equipment running.
• Keeps track of where company assets are and manages inventory during moves.
• Ensures that user accounts and computers meet security standards for audits.
• Adds to the department's knowledge base by creating and updating documents.
• Helps with local meeting rooms, including urgent issues.
• Finds and reports bigger problems in the setup.
• Works with employees and outside companies to handle warranty issues.
• Occasionally handles purchasing for inventory and customer needs.
• Occasionally helps with technology projects involving different teams.
• Supports IT needs for company and customer events.
Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0-2 years’ experience in an IT support role working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Some experience supporting on-site and remote customers.
- Ability to work independently and exercise analytical problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated communications skills, with ability to communicate technical subjects to non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Windows, and Salesforce preferred.
