Job Summary

 The Clinic Services and Administration Recruiter is a direct member of the Human Resources team, managing full-cycle recruiting and onboarding services for each of our clinics located in Seattle, Renton and Olympia as well as our administrative office located in Georgetown, Seattle where this role is seated. The Clinic Services and Administrative divisions employ approximately 180 roles with an average of around 20-25 open roles. 

This is an active role with lots of interaction and communication with hiring managers so there is a need for robust communication and organizational skills. With that in mind we are in search of a team member with a strong history of full-cycle recruiting and confidence guiding hiring managers through best practices. 

Full-Cycle Recruiting with Evergreen Treatment Services (ETS) means that the recruiter is will manage all of the following for each posted role:

  • Sourcing - We are an Anti-Racist organization and invite diversity throughout, so we utilize both online and in-person sourcing with other organizations to establish lasting relationships.
  • Screening – Screening resumes is a standard task and most times the recruiter will conduct screen calls as well, but sometimes the hiring manager will do it and notes will be provided to you via our HRIS system so you can take it from there.
  • Scheduling - Scheduling screenings, first and second interviews, shadowing and start dates are managed by this role.
  • Background Checks – ETS is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Second Chance Employer, viewing candidates with the understanding that we all make mistakes and we all deserve a second chance. You will submit a background check request for each candidate and review it with our Second Chance Employer lens upon return. When there are questionable items on a background check, you'll have your team (HRBP, HR Manager or VP) to help you in deciding next steps.
  • Onboarding - Our onboarding process is managed through our HRIS (currently Paylocity) and is pretty quick and easy. Some of the primary items you will manage in this area include: Employment Eligibility and I9 verification, License and Certification verification, and ensuring that the employee completes their onboarding in a timely manner. You will have the support of your designated HRBP will partner with you to assist when needed.

This role meets staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, advising hiring managers and owning the new hire onboarding process. The HR Recruiter will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of job postings for ETS, as well as being the primary contact for candidates and new hires. The nature of this position is fast paced, requiring attention to detail, and exceptional multi-tasking and interpersonal skills. The position will require regular travel to all Clinics and is seated in our Corporate offices with four days in-office an one work-from-home day. 

The salary for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year.

  • Help ETS succeed in carrying out our mission through working together with other staff to transform systems of harm and inequity to create different approaches to improving community health and safety through addressing substance use and homelessness. 
  • Assist with the organization-wide initiative to reimagine our interconnectedness within our community to overcome the aspects of our society and organizational culture shaped by white supremacy and settler colonialism.

Job Functions (May Include)

  • Coordinate the agency’s full-cycle recruiting and hiring process and effectively advertise/recruit for open positions such as counselors, medical providers, case managers, finance and accounting, human resources assistant etc.
  • Partner with the agency hiring manager’s regularly to ensure accurate understanding of position needs, by building hiring management profiles for department-specific hiring.
  • Assist with interviewing and help to develop or update job descriptions.
  • Facilitate checking references and background checks.
  • Provide administrative orientation to new employees and ensure onboarding documentation is received and up-to-date.
  • Daily review of job applications submitted through Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Paylocity and other sources such as Indeed.
  • Communication with job candidates about application status, as well as with Clinic Hiring Managers about staffing needs.
  • Track and report job postings weekly to agency Executives.
  • Assist with the sourcing of candidates and job fair recruitment.
  • Host New Hire Orientation approximately once every other month.
  • Participate in Evergreen Treatment Services HR initiatives projects and department continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

 Education

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum two years of HR experience in administrative, recruitment, orientation, and/or training.
  • Experience using Human Resource software (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Paylocity experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • An understanding of racial justice and social equity and a commitment to helping create an equitable environment for all ETS clients and patients as well as fellow staff.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, patients, and staff from a wide variety of ethnic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS Systems.
  • Computer literate, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and a high level of initiative in keeping current with technological change.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload, work independently, and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Dependable, able to work under pressure, receptive to change, willing to learn, cooperative approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, and outside contacts from a wide variety of ethnic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds; good diplomatic skills.
  • Possess strong critical thinking skills to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling highly sensitive information.
  • Ability to effectively problem solve, apply good judgment and initiative.
  • Flexible team player, with excellent attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

  • The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear; frequently required to stand, walk and kneel; occasionally to climb balance, or stoop; rarely to crouch or crawl.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
