Evergreen Refreshments is Hiring an Area Manager | Now Hiring in Albany, OR Near Albany, OR

Local vending company looking for an experienced retail route driver to serve as our Area Manager and customer service champion. This Area Manager position will be a very important position for the continued success of our Evergreen Vending and Avanti Markets NW. Although we have a pretty good idea of what we would like the responsibilities of this position to entail, we also know that there is a very good chance that they will be customized to the evolving needs of the business as well as to the candidates strengths.

Practical Day to Day Functions:

  • Training new & existing drivers.
  • Coaching on customer interaction and our service-oriented approach.
  • Communicates closely with the team on a daily basis.
  • Tracking the progress of drivers in training and retraining.
  • Assist in monthly driver meetings.
  • Participates in continuous evaluations for drivers.
  • Running relief routes, as needed.
  • Serves as a key communicator to key customers.
  • Schedule:

Monday through Friday |45-50 hours per week | shifts starts between 4:00 am-6:00 am

Key Characteristics:

  • Pay strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication (Must be able to read, write & speak English).
  • Business Math Skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to visit Government Badged locations.
  • Clean driving record and at least 21 years of age, for insurance purposes
  • Capable of operating a box truck.
  • Committed to meet schedules and deadlines.
  • Self-starter - a person who doesn't require much supervision.
  • Organized and tactical with fast past working environment.
