TITLE: Automotive and Diesel-Toolroom Assistant - Summer

LOCATION: Cascadia Technical Academy

REPORTS TO: Program Instructor-Summer School Director 

DEPARTMENT: Cascadia Technical Academy (CTA)

Hours / Work Times

8 Hours Per Day (7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. includes 30 minute unpaid lunch)

June 24, 2024 - July 12, 2024

This position will remain open until a qualified applicant is selected. The earliest date a recommendation for hire may be submitted is after 04/22/2024.

Evergreen Public Schools (EPS) offers the following to eligible employees who work at least 630 hours in a school year:

SUMMARY STATEMENT:

Assist summer school instructor with instruction and be in charge of the toolroom.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Check out and provide control of all tools used during summer school.
  2. Communicate effectively with students, staff and general public.
  3. Ensure proper safety and security as required.
  4. Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment and supplies.
  5. Complete program paperwork and maintain records as requested.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must possess qualifications and abilities related to the automotive industry and tools for that industry.
  2. Must be able to work neatly and efficiently with maximum safety.
  3. Must be able to establish and maintain a good working relationship with fellow employees, administrators, supervisors and students.
