Sales Associates assist the Store Manager to ensure the highest level of customer experience. This position is responsible for conducting customer transactions through the Point of Sale system, developing and applying product expertise, and maintaining the visual presentation of the sales floor.

• Demonstrate excellent customer service
• Operate a computerized Point of Sale system; this includes accurate entry of customer information, conducting sales and cash transactions, and navigating inventory database
• Develop and apply product knowledge, while maintaining an ongoing awareness of current sales and promotions
• Assist in creating and maintaining store displays and layout, including daily restocking and straightening
• Assist in unloading and processing weekly deliveries
• Actively endeavor to meet daily sales goals
• Participate in team challenges and meetings

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with store personnel and clientele
• Ability to manage administrative tasks while maintaining focus on the sales floor and customer
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Prior retail and Point of Sale experience desired
• Comfortable navigating through MS Office Suite and other basic computer software
• Good basic math skills
• Must be able to stoop, squat, bend and climb ladders
• Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs
