Evergreen Animal Care Center is a full service animal hospital, pet resort, and grooming facility. We are in search of a Veterinary Assistant/Technician to join our team. You must be self motivated, a fast learner, hard working, accountable, and have a strong work ethic. You must be passionate, and give the highest of service to our furry friends and clients. What we are looking for in a technician/vet assistant:

- Must be able to assist in diagnostic tests and x-rays.

- Prepare animals and instruments for surgery

- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments

- Assist during medical procedures

- Collect and record animal case histories

- Cleaning and sterilizing equipment, and filling prescriptions

- Ability to restrain animals and lift up to 40 pounds

- Excellent communication skills with both co-workers and clients

-Willing to train the right person
