Evergreen Ace Hardware and Paint is Hiring a Store Manager Near Evergreen, CO

PAY RANGE: $50,000 - $70,000 salary

POSITION SUMMARY:
Upholds the Moore Lumber & Hardware Values Statement. Store Manager position is responsible for the complete day-to-day operation of the store. Store Managers are responsible for maximizing store sales and profitability, along with minimizing expenses while ensuring that the store is optimally stocked and merchandised, and to Amaze Every Customer Every Time. A store manager contributes to the growth and development of the management team and store associates.

The Evergreen Location is a new facility that has been open just over a year. Evergreen Ace offers a fresh line of products to meet the needs of the local mountain community of Evergreen. If you are looking for a career with a long standing local business come apply at Moore Lumber & Hardware.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 year of Retail Management experience. 5 years of customer service experience.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.).
  • Strong analytical ability.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Knowledge of lumber, building materials, and hardware related products preferred along with a willingness to learn.
  • Must have familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe), knowledge of EAGLE a plus.
  • Possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company’s insurance carrier’s standards.

Physical Requirements:
The minimum physical requirements for this position include:

  • Ability to stand for an extended period of time, walk, reach, and bend to perform job duties.
  • Move and handle merchandise up to 50 pounds, and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth.
  • Ability to work on elevated platforms and ladders, and at heights

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
