Summary
This LPN (or RN) position provides initial orientation training as well as continuous education of all employees in the Everest Medical Group. Collaborates with Leadership and Medical Providers to incorporate new protocols/procedures/practices in each clinic. Oversees the re-accreditation process of Everest Medical Group for Urgent Care Association Accreditation. This position reports to the Medical Executive Director.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Coordinates and facilitates the orientation program for all new employees of the Urgent Care clinics.
· Plans and implements all mandatory in-services and training for the staff such as CPR/BLS training.
· Works with the Office Managers/Center Directors in scheduling training sessions and regarding any concerns/issues with staff performance.
· Promotes a high level of quality and competency of patient care.
· Educates front desk and patient care staff in the use of new equipment, supplies, and instruments.
· Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental processes (OSHA).
· Oversee and maintain the Vaccine for Children and PhilaVax programs in all clinics.
· Oversee and maintain supply ordering for all clinics including ordering vaccines from Medicaid HMO pharmacies.
· Oversee the adherence of the Compliance Plan.
· Ensure quality of care is maintained in each clinic.
· Promotes customer service in all clinics. Re-trains employees when needed.
· Continually access and provide operational guidance to all clinic staff.
· Work at the front desk and clinical areas of each clinic when needed.
· Send all telemeds out to offices from EHR.
· Instruct and oversee students during internships.
· Oversee the monthly/yearly checklist for UCA accreditation.
· Any tasks, duties, projects requested by the Executive Director.
