Everest Recovery Centers is run by seasoned veterans in the substance use disorder treatment field. Our mission is to provide comprehensive services for persons affected by addiction through community awareness, quality and holistic clinical services in an efficient, safe, and fiscally sound environment.

We help people rebuild their self-esteem and reestablish their roles as productive family members through our services, which include FDA approved medications: methadone and buprenorphine; diagnostic assessment, relapse prevention and support groups, addiction education, counseling, and more.

Current Opening:

We are currently seeking a Full time Security Guard for our Manchester, ME facility. Hours are Monday through Friday from 5:15 AM to 11:15 AM (6 hours) and Saturday from 5:45 AM to 10:15 AM (4.5 hours) for a total of 34.5 hours, weekly.

Position Summary:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to access control, patrols of the clinic’s interior and exterior, maintain order, and responding to emergencies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor company grounds to prevent theft, violence or other loss of company property Assist in de-escalating and managing crises and emergency situations
• Conduct foot patrols throughout building and external building perimeter verifying that pre-designated doors, locks, rooms, property and areas are secure
• Maintain vigilance at entrances.
• Greet, provide assistance and direction to patients, employees, and vendors visiting or conducting business with Everest Recovery Centers. 
• Assist and cooperate with authorities under emergency conditions
• Respond to calls for assistance in preventing interference or disruption of operations
• Make preliminary reports and assist in the investigation of activities as assigned by clinic management
• Complete special assignments, projects, and/or orders directed by management

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally. Report writing skills
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Good Communication skills
• Ability to be adaptable/flexible in a busy environment
• Good decision-making skills
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual and stressful circumstances.
