Title: AVP, Property Delivery Operations Company: Everest Insurance Company Job Category: Underwriting Job Description: Job Summary This leadership role will be responsible for the strategic delivery of US Property. The priorities of the role are to operationalize the US Property strategy, deliver on key transformational projects and elevate the client experience across the segment. The UW Services Team of Everest Insurance, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd. is looking for a AVP Property Delivery Operations leader to join our Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, or NYC teams. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Collaborates across all levels of Ops, UW and Shared organizations to deliver on strategic and tactical business needs, up to and including, ownership of high-level strategic projects. Owns primary accountability for continuous improvement opportunities within their assigned segments, inclusive of documenting, resourcing, resolving, and assuring follow through on corrective actions. Drives the communication and reporting cadence for US Property. Partners across the Operation to develop root cause problem solving and customer service culture. Model Process Improvement Culture, including identifying & drive process improvement initiatives across the responsible segments. Partner with and foster relationships with key Operations & UW Stakeholders to deliver on priorities. Create a culture that fosters development, accountability, and engagement. Act as a coach and mentor for Extended Leadership Team. Qualifications, Education & Experience: Minimum 10 years (re)insurance experience; strong understanding of Property Workflow Minimum 5 years in an operations strategy role Demonstrated experience to think strategically, organize deliverables and drive execution Project Management experience with leading delivery across multiple stakeholders Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to build and foster relationships across teams and stakeholders Experience with transforming an operating model, driving implementation, adoption & Change Management readiness within the team Previous experience driving change leveraging the change management principals University degree or equivalent business experience required Previous experience working in a Matrix organization is a plus Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Highly self-driven, well-structured yet flexible, able to think strategically / end-to-end Strong problem-solver and critical-thinker with endless curiosity and a penchant for thinking the impossible Excellent relationship management, to create, foster & maintain A collaborative and team-based approach to business, valuing an inclusive approach Excellent organizer, flexible and able to work optimally under tight timeframe Excellent sense of ownership and accountability that transfer to delivery of the operation Excellent communication skills and leadership: encourage, empower, develop, and lead a team while providing constructive feedback Demonstrated Process Improvement Mindset by fostering improvements and simplification in systems and processes Can navigate ambiguity and can work effectively in a changing and quickly evolving environment Intellectual curiosity to delve into and solution various business problems Action oriented & demonstrated sense of urgency to execute For NYC Only: The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - 180,000 annually.
