About the role: The Security Solution Architect will be responsible for defining the information security solution architecture, developing security solution designs and blueprints, and driving the introduction and adoption of new security technologies. As a Senior Security Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for delivering optimal solutions for business requirements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Translate business and technical security requirements into an architectural blueprint adhering to enterprise security architecture standards Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders during security solution development Participate in product/vendor evaluation and selection process Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams in defining the security standards, and roadmaps Continuous review/monitoring of the project implementations to ensure the alignment with the approved security solution Provide actionable guidance to teams regarding implementation of security controls and design patterns across multiple disciplines (network, cloud, endpoint, software development, etc.) Act as a subject matter expert on technologies and trends in security solutions architecture Produce security solution architecture artifacts Perform security assessments to identify security issues in applications, platforms, and infrastructure Lead the planning/remediation of assessment, audit, and risk findings Achieve security architecture compliance on requirements including Sarbanes-Oxley, ISO 27001, Service Organization Control (SOC) 2, GDPR, global data privacy requirements, and state and federal regulations Work Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields 10 years of experience in secure application/product/platform development and/or 8 years of experience in security solution architecture Proven experience in security architecture for both applications and infrastructure Demonstrable experience architecting enterprise security solutions including cloud solutions with Azure, AWS, Office 365 and SaaS services Knowledge in the design and implementation of identity and access management solutions and participation in the orchestration of zero-trust frameworks Demonstrable experience and knowledge in the following: Network security infrastructure controls including next generation firewalls, proxies, advanced malware controls, IDS / IPS and DLP, CASB, Cloud Proxy, DLP, MFA, cloud automation and management tools Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM along with demonstrable knowledge of security standards and best practices, (e.g., ISO 27001 and NIST) Knowledge of Agile Methodology, SCRUM framework, SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps Ability to clearly articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps Previous work experience with a P&C Insurance or Reinsurance company is strongly preferred #LI-DP1 #LI-Hybrid Type: Regular Time Type: Full time Primary Location: Warren, NJ Additional Locations: Everest is an equal opportunity employer.
