About the Role:

Data Modeler with overall data warehouse experience such as requirement gathering, data analysis, database model design, develop, and deploy for application development to support business applications. It will be a plus with experience on ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatic, etc.

Job Responsibilities

• Create and maintain professional, easy-to-understand diagrams or presentation to document and demonstrate technical ideas
• Strong analytic skill to analyze and explore data by reading and writing mid-level SQLs and procedures
• Create Scope Analysis, Source To Target Mapping, and various different documentations as needed
• Communicate with business teams efficiently for questions and push for answers
• Design, develop and deploy database models for application development to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
• Perform data analysis and data modeling for operational and analytical databases.
• Be responsible for data classification, naming, design of the database, and the creation of DDL.
• Provide technical consulting for application teams for data naming, classification, design and handling as a part of the first line of defense for data controls in designing systems.
• Suggest and implement improvements in architecture, team processes and functions.
• Meet with client as required to provide delivery expertise and drive results.
• Take accountability to complete work on time and raise blockers and issues to ensure timelines are met.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed with a high satisfaction and build client and Trianz peer relationships to build trust and confidence.
• Based on past and current client execution, work with peers to lead in the development of point of views, new solutions, accelerators that will assist in driving results.
• Using your experience, provide leadership and guidance as needed with building out innovative solutions that will accelerate implementation and time to market for our clients.
• Understand ETL processing, and read ETL code

Required Skills 12 years of experience in IT, Data Analysis, Data Manipulation, or related work.

• Hands on experience with Erwin
• Experience with databases and SQL
• Experience with dimensional modeling
• Understanding of data modeling best practices
• Full lifecycle experience in waterfall and agile development methodologies
• Intelligent but practical; you want to get things done and love simplicity.
• Handling multi-tasking, time management and self-motivated
• Experience with ETL tools is a plus
