Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader that is willing to be trained to operate a Buck Hoist. This position is on a large construction site.
This position is 2-3 days per week with opportunity to become full time.
Duties:
- Operate Buck Hoist, move, and position heavy materials up to 50lbs according to project specifications
- Inspect buck hoist before each use to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Communicate with ground crew or signalers to ensure safe and efficient movement of loads
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or damage to property
- Perform routine maintenance on Buck hoist, such as lubricating parts and replacing worn-out components
- Keep accurate records of buck hoist operations, including load charts, maintenance logs, and inspection reports
-Fill in as an operator as needed.

-Communicate with other trades as needed
-Communicate by phone, email and in-person with owner on a daily basis
Requirements:
- Proven experience on a construction site
- Willing to attend Buck Hoist Operator training
- Ability to read load charts, and other technical documents
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments and withstand long hours of standing in a hoist elevator
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and follow instructions
-Have high school diploma/GED
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
