Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate self-motivated Communications Specialist to join our team. As a Communications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining effective client-facing documentation, promotional and marketing materials, website content and more for multiple clients, and event audiences. If you have a strong background in communication, excellent writing skills, have a flair for creativity and are a great multi-tasker, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Create and update website content for multiple events including event schedules, content, venue information, sponsor logos, images, etc.
• Create and send email blasts for multiple events using Constant Contact
• Create and update event marketing and promotional packages
• Create multiple event deliverables including but not limited to sponsor packets, speaker packets, attendee guides, etc.
• Update digital content on mobile app platform for multiple events
• Create basic graphics as needed for event emails, social media posts, etc.
• Proofread content for event signage and other print deliverables
• Manage event social media accounts and including content creation, scheduling, and engagement

Skills:
- Excellent proven written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of communication principles and grammar best practices
- Proficiency in social media and email marketing platforms
- Experience with website content management
- Strong attention to detail, work ethic and pride of ownership
- Strong proofreading skills
