Job Duties: Front Desk Coverage, Phone Coverage

Job responsibilities in Brief

• Perform front desk reception coverage; assist walk-in registrants for Regulated Business and HIC Contractors. Provide courteous and helpful customer service in a friendly and patient manner, provide general instructions, accept paperwork from registrants attempting to renew registration, or contact Regulated Business staff to assist with new registration applicants. Will also redirect walk-ins to their appropriate floor or authorize office entry for visitors; other duties as assigned.
• Will also be responsible for answering and logging calls in the Consumer Service Center; this will include courteous and helpful customer service to consumers and the general public who call the Division for assistance; transferring calls to the appropriate Division boards/units/committees, answering questions and assisting consumers with how to file a complaint through the Division’s website or mailing a complaint form to anyone who cannot file electronically. Will also provide contact information to callers for other government agencies if the issue does not fall within the Division’s jurisdiction; other duties as assigned.
