Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Data Integrity Intern to join our team in Prince George, Virginia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of our item database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is used for various reporting tools. Additionally, you will assist in pulling relevant data for reporting tools and collaborate with the team to build insightful reports using visualization tools.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Regularly review and update the item database to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Work closely with team members to identify and resolve any discrepancies or inconsistencies in data.
• Extract and manipulate data from various sources to fulfill reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to design and develop reports using visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Assist in documenting data processes and procedures to maintain consistency and transparency.
• Provide support in ad-hoc data analysis tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and extraction using tools like SQL, and Excel.
• Familiarity with data visualization concepts and experience with visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously.
• Prior internship or coursework related to data management or analytics is a plus.
