The Associate Project Manager will collaborate with various internal teams to conduct market and competitive analyses, design promotional campaigns, and develop profitable positioning and pricing for the brands. They will be supporting the development and execution of a brand's marketing strategy including monitoring budgets, analyzing market trends, conducting research, and assisting in new product launches. This position will work closely with the design and writing teams to ensure that all aspects of a brand's communication are consistent.

Essential Functions

  • Assist Brand Managers (BMs) with research of market trends, consumer trends, and product specific activities to fine tune product positioning and to determine growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with BMs and Creative team to coordinate creation of promotional campaign materials, new literature pieces, and marketing and sales collateral.
  • Keep a pulse on sales for products/brands to help in proactive planning for marketing activities – make recommendations to BMs on findings.
  • Assist BMs with meeting or exceeding all campaign, marketing, and sales goals.
  • Collaborate with BMs and the Creative team to review marketing literature and determine reorder timing and quantities, whether to update the literature, or discontinue it.
  • In-depth market research relating to new products, including searching product name and trademark databases.
  • Maintain various servers and databases to keep marketing materials, testimonials, etc., up to date.
  • Perform other administrative, analytical, and day-to-day operational duties related to brand.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field (Business, Communications, MarCom)
  • Five years of related experience.
  • Proven administrative support skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Flexible and team orientated.
  • Positive attitude with the ability and willingness to learn.
  • Works well as both a leader and a team player.
