Senior Film Process Engineer - Extrusion / Transverse Directional Orientation / Biaxial Stretching / Film Extrusion

QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. or graduate degree in mechanical, materials science, or manufacturing engineering with 4 years of hands-on polymer film manufacturing and process engineering expertise.
• Extensive experience and record of accomplishment with scaling film extrusion from the lab through pilot and commercialization phases.
• Strong analytical ability and familiarity with SPC and analytical software such as MiniTab.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overall responsibility for leading the optimization and scaling of film extrusion and biaxial stretching operations.
• Ramping film manufacturing from pilot line to full manufacturing lines.
• Reporting on the progress of manufacturing operations in terms of productivity, yield, and quality, as well as the development of corrective action, and plans to meet aggressive world-class manufacturing and quality objectives.
