The Divisional Director will play a key role in the strategic business development of the Northeast-USA region. Preference will be given to candidates residing in: New York or New Jersey. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish & English and has a strong background in the money transfer industry. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute the overall business development strategy for each division in the Northeast-USA region by expanding our agent network and by retaining and developing our existing agents
  • Develop and manage our network of agents and strategic partners to further drive incremental business on a sustainable growth trajectory 
  • Manage and lead direct reports to maximize market share, acquire new agents, develop relationship with existing agents and drive the growth of transaction volume and profitability 
  • Responsible for setting and communicating sales targets, supporting the sales team in achieving them, and delivering on strategies to grow transactions, revenue and EBIT
  • Lead the sales team utilizing the company’s best marketing strategies, sales philosophies and techniques 
  • Implement and improve our sales processes, pricing strategies and marketing plans to achieve revenue and profit goals, in a sustainable manner 
  • Cultivate potential agent relationships, assisting in negotiations to acquire new agents and grow our exclusive agent sales portfolio
  • Identify and actively negotiate new agents’ relationships together with the extended team 
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of the competition and identify growth opportunities 
  • Review and analyze performance and competitive data, develop expansion plans and deliver by allocating resources accordingly
  • Identify and resolve quality service issues to accelerate drive growth
  • Responsible for hiring, training, developing the sales team and provide guidance, direction and thought leadership, that will translate in positive results
  • Oversee training of all staff on sales techniques, policies and procedures
  • Actively manage, supervise, motivate, counsel, delegate and provide performance evaluations to attain the company’s established goals 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree preferred and/or equivalent management experience
  • 7 years of sales experience in a leadership role and business development 
  • Previous Financial Services or Money Transfer industry experience preferred
  • Proven track record of leading a sales team, generating sales and meeting sales targets
  • Key skills: sales quota management, persuasive, negotiation and strategic thinking skills 
  • Must possess financial acumen, excellent business judgement and a professional demeanor
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, someone who leads from the front and become a role model for the team
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees-English/Spanish is required 
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and have strong PowerPoint skills

Benefits: Our package includes medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K, employee stock options, paid time off, HSA/FSA, short-term/long-term disability, tuition assistance, growth opportunities, and much more. Salary: The range in for this position is $120-150k base variable target 65% of base. Actual starting compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, and skills.
