Job Description

Eurofins is seeking an entry-level Project Manager Assistant in our University Park, IL environmental testing laboratory. Experience in a lab setting doing Chemistry bench work is very helpful.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist 2-3 Project Managers

· Creates bottle orders

· Schedules courier or field sampler, if needed

·Confirms non-Eurofins subcontract labs are on the approved list and set up as vendors for existing work and generates subcontract paperwork

·Generates accounting software requisition when sending subcontract samples

· Sample Receipt

· Reviews log-in

· Sends client sample receipt confirmation

· Reviews draft invoices

· Confirms that any client needed information (purchase order, project number, etc.) is recorded in LIMS for invoicing

· Creates and issues final report by client due date

· Issues final data package

· State reporting forms and submission

· Data upload

· Compiles case narrative

· Invoicing and reporting

· Reviews final invoice before issuing to client

· Generates and submits credit/debit memos for approval

· Submits approved credit/debit memos to client, if needed

· Submits revised invoices

Qualifications

• Associates degree, preferably in science; four years client relationship/client service experience may substitute
• Bench chemistry experience ideally
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional information

Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of University Park, IL are encouraged to apply. This is an onsite position.

Pay range: $17-19/hr

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
