Join our team as a CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing) Interviewer and be a crucial part of our surveying and data collection endeavors. As a CATI Interviewer, you will be guided by a script provided by a software application to conduct telephone surveys, ensuring precise recording of feedback. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to meaningful research while refining your communication and problem-solving skills. You will be working on a project for the US Federal Government.

Responsibilities

• Survey Execution: Engage in conducting telephone surveys, adhering to the provided script, and ensuring the accurate recording of feedback.
• Verbatim Documentation: Capture verbatim responses with careful attention to spelling and grammar, maintaining high-quality documentation standards.
• Customer Call Backs: Initiate call backs to customers when necessary, aiming to gather additional information or clarify responses.
• Flexible Schedule: Work a flexible schedule between the hours of 9am-11pm, including Saturdays, to accommodate the varying availability of survey participants.
• Problem Solving: Apply problem-solving skills to handle challenging or irate clients with professionalism and efficiency.
• Product Knowledge: Stay well-informed about the organization’s products or services and stay up to date with any changes, ensuring accurate representation during surveys.

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferably six months or more experience: Experience in Outbound Contact Center Operations is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills: Ability to engage with participants effectively and actively listen to their responses.
• Good telephone manners: Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy during telephone interactions.
• Excellent command of English: Motivated and reliable: Exhibit a strong work ethic, reliability, and motivation to contribute to the team’s success.
• Basic IT skills: Possess fundamental IT skills to navigate relevant software applications.
• Confident and able to approach people: Display confidence in engaging with survey participants and approaching them with professionalism.
• Willing to learn: Openness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
• Results-driven: Demonstrate a focus on achieving results and meeting performance goals.
