Virginia Veterinary Centers is an emergency hospital caring for animals in Fredericksburg and the surrounding area.
We are seeking to fill 1 Full Time Hospital Coordinator positions in our Emergency Departments and Specialty Departments.
The Hospital Coordinator is responsible for working with clients to present, explain and enact treatment plans for patients and audits current and closed invoices.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Available to ER and Specialty throughout the hospital to coordinate patients’ care.
· Handles complicated or time consuming financial conversations with clients, relieving the specialist or his/her team so they can move onto the next patient or procedure.
· Assist CSRs with in-depth phone calls from clients and PVMs to discuss and answer detailed questions about services.
· Audits all current/open invoices for hospitalized patients and outpatients. Audits closed invoices as a KPI, producing management reports monthly.
· Reviews estimates with ER clients to improve treatment plan compliance and efficiency in the Emergency Room.
· Trains new hires with VVC Fee Structure and Invoicing.
· Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Available to work between the hours of 6am-12am
· 3-5 years Client Service Work History
· Experience Auditing Medical Records
· 2-5 years Demonstrated history of handling escalated client concerns
· 2-5 years Leadership/Trainer Work History
