Ethos Veterinary Health is Hiring a Facilities and Safety Manager Near Vancouver, WA
Job Description
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Manage the maintenance of equipment, machinery, and buildings. Plan budget and schedule facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor materials, and other related costs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee all maintenance operations of medical facilities and residential properties.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors.
- Plan and schedule maintenance programs, site enhancements, and new construction along with managing state and local permits.
- Manage departmental staff requirements.
- Develop policies and procedures for all facets of facilities control and management.
- Prepare business continuity planning.
- Manage operational budgets.
- Administration of CMMS software.
- Reporting all FM activities to management.
- Initiate cost-saving programs and ensure maintenance requirements are performed in the most cost-efficient manner.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Business/Engineering degree preferred
- 5 years’ experience in commercial/residential building operations and maintenance
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Thorough knowledge of business software including maintenance management software, graphical and CAD design
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
