The Prairie Description:

The Prairie Recovery Center is a 30-bed co-gender residential substance abuse treatment facility located in Round Top, TX that specializes in co-occurring mental health issues. The Prairie Recovery Center treats a variety of special populations including professionals, veterans and first responders. Nestled in 46 acres of lush green fields in Round Top—a mere 90 minutes away from Houston, Austin and San Antonio—The Prairie Recovery Center is a peaceful, countryside destination with a late 1800’s farmhouse serving as the heart of the expansive facility. Cozy guest cabins and common areas are outfitted with beautiful furnishings and designer antique decor, while panoramic views of the Texas Hill Country encircle the property.

Position Summary:

The full time Clinical Director at TPRC is part of the clinical team that creates the space and container to facilitate the healing and wellness of clients who admit to treat their substance use disorder.

Qualifications for Employment:

Education:

Fully licensed LMFT, LPC, or LCSW

LCDC in addition preferred

Experience:

2 years in substance use disorder treatment experience in treating co-occurring disorders

Experience working with families impacted by and recovering from substance use disorder

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Knowledge of ASAM Criteria
  • Ability to interact with electronic health records
  • Ability to facilitate telehealth
  • Ability to utilize electronic team communication
  • Ability to provide individual, group, family, and couples counseling
  • Ability to facilitate psychoeducational group material
  • Knowledge of confidentiality, HIPAA, and privacy guidelines
  • Multicultural competency

Job Requirements:

  • Overseeing all clinical services at Prairie Recovery Center
  • Managing all clinical employees
  • Assisting Executive Director with hiring of clinical staff
  • Managing program KPIs including budgets and finances
  • Facilitating program staff meetings
  • Assisting clinicians in clinical staffing decisions
  • Delivering clinical services regularly
  • Collaborating with key referral sources in order to promote the Prairie Recovery Center
  • Ensuring high level client care, proper record keeping, and compliance with licensure and accreditation standards
  • Collaborating with Executive Director to execute the current organizational initiatives
  • Implementing the mission, embracing the vision, and upholding the values
  • Demonstrating leadership abilities, with an ability to communicate with persons from all educational and cultural backgrounds
  • Demonstrating tact, initiative, resourcefulness, a professional manner, enthusiasm, and a non-judgmental attitude
