Job Summary
Lawler Family Dentistry seeks a competent dental assistant who will make the dentist’s office efficient and pleasant for patients.
You’ll ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentist’s shoulders. Dental assistants should be well-organized and pay great attention to detail.
You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.

Lawler Family Dentistry has invested in new and improved technology to ensure each patient receives the best, most convenient, and state-of-the-art dental care.
We are excited to offer same-day crowns, in-house lab-made night guards, CBCT-based surgically guided implants, CBCT-guided root canals, extractions, and soon lab-made clear aligners and expedited denture deliveries.

Our Goals
Doctor Lawler’s goal is to provide exceptional dental care to the rural areas of Northern Wisconsin. It is important to us that patients have access to quality dental care within our small communities.
We strive to have a staff of general dentists among our team who can provide specialty work in rural areas. Doctor Laura specializes in her advanced knowledge of tooth extractions and offers CBCT-based endodontic procedures at our Hayward location.
Doctor Ethan Lawler specializes in implant placements, and 3D printing, and is taking continuing education classes to master full-mouth reconstruction cases by 2025.
We are excited to announce the addition of Doctor Lauren Poppe to our team in Lake Nebagamon starting July 2024! Doctor Duffy is excited to keep stepping away towards retirement and working one day a week at our Hayward location.
All four doctors are excited to see if our office would fit you well!
What is Happening in 2024?
At our Hayward location, Doctor Laura will continue to excel and have continuing education on root canals, extractions, bone grafts, and same-day crowns.
Doctor Ethan Lawler will provide free implant consultations and place implants at our Hayward location. He is excited to offer this weekly starting in the Fall of 2024.
Lawler Family Dentistry is happy to say our Hayward location is completely up and functional so we currently do not have any other major projects planned!
This spring will be a large year for our Lake Nebagamon location. We are excited to announce the addition of a new dentist, Doctor Lauren Poppe! Doctor Poppe is eager to start her career as a dentist alongside Doctor Ethan Lawler as he personally mentors and trains her during the first few years of her career! More exciting news : our Lake Nebagamon location is getting renovated, and we are expanding our clinic.
After our build-out project this spring, we have 8 patient treatment rooms and a functional in-house dental laboratory with a full-time laboratory technician available.
This laboratory addition will drastically shorten delivery wait times and allow the application of knowledge needed to complete more complex dental cases. We are excited for 2024!
