Physician Assistant Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Completion of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a college or university OB/GYN Women's Healthcare or Family Planning Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwife, or Physician Assistant Program.
• Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of New York or eligibility to obtain one.
• 1-3 years of related experience, preferably in reproductive health or a similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of women's health issues and current medical practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide compassionate care and effective patient education.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment.

Physician Assistant Responsibilities: As a Physician Assistant in Women's Health, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality and compassionate care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of women's health conditions, under the supervision of our experienced medical team.
• Conducting physical examinations, collecting medical histories, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
• Providing counseling and education to patients on various women's health issues, including family planning, contraception, prenatal care, and menopause management.
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.

Schedule and Compensation: The generally expected work hours for this position are around 8 am to 6 pm. The pay rate for this position is $54-$60 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
