Are you a reliable and detail-oriented individual with a passion for maintaining cleanliness and organization? We are currently seeking a Custodian to join our team at our Hyde Park location. This is a temporary position with the potential for permanent placement (temp to hire). If you have a valid Driver's License and either a High School Diploma or Equivalent, we want to hear from you!
Custodian Responsibilities: As a Custodian, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and maintaining offices, bathrooms, kitchens, and residential business areas to the highest standard of cleanliness.
- Setting up and cleaning up for events, both indoors and outdoors, to provide a welcoming and pristine environment for our visitors and guests.
- Performing various cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing, mopping, sweeping, and waste disposal.
- Adhering to cleaning protocols and schedules as assigned by management.
- Ensuring the proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues or repairs needed within the facility.
- Valid Driver's License to facilitate travel to different locations.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
- Proven experience in custodial or cleaning roles is preferred.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with occasional weekend availability.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects if required.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
