Our skilled Home Care Client is seeking nursing staff to join our home health team for pediatric and adult care shift work in Florida. With a full range of cases with differing ages/complexities available -- we will find the perfect fit for you. Experience is preferred, but New Nurses are welcome to grow with us. We will welcome experienced Nurse wishing to enter the Home Care Industry! Cases available throughout and near Pinellas and Pasco County. New Nurses are welcome to apply!
Locations Served: Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Palm Harbor, Wesley Chapel, Lutz, Tampa, Port Richey, Seminole
Job Type: Full Time Positions ONLY - **Please do not apply if seeking PT or PRN**
Schedule: 8 hour shifts; 12 hour shifts; Day shifts; Evening, Nights, Weekend shifts. Must be able to work three (3) 12hr shifts and 1 weekend within the scheduling period, unless otherwise specified on the case listing. Home Care Cases have a fixed schedule. Nurse to patient ratio for the duration of the shift is 1:1. Care is provided in the patient's home.

Job Description:
Job Summary: Provide nursing care to patient(s) in the home setting. Observe and assess the client and/or caregiver to enhance the quality of life. Demonstrate individualized creativity in educating the patient and/or caregiver. Follow nursing policy and procedure per agency standards. Follow the plan of care according to physician orders. Contribute to the plan of care. Demonstrate understanding of Medicare and Medicaid regulations. Nurse to Patient Ratio is Low - mostly 1:1 care during the scheduled shift hours. Care will be provided in the patient home(s) located near Pinellas and Pasco county areas.

Duties:
- Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide wound care, ostomy care, and other specialized nursing procedures
- Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare techniques and disease management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in the state of Florida (Multi-state) - Candidates must be willing to work in-person in Florida.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home care or a similar setting; however, New Nurses are welcome to come aboard and grow with the team
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
