- Bachelor's degree -- or foreign equivalent -- in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or eight years of progressively responsible experience in software development
- Intermediate knowledge of the business systems and technologies within the Logistics domain with a specific focus preferably on Manhattan WMOS systems
- Demonstrated experience leading successful development efforts
- Experience inspiring and motivating people to fulfill their potential
- Ability to promote teamwork and establish a foundation of trust among team members
- Experience with CI (Continuous Integration) methodologies and tools, including automated testing tools
- Highly knowledgeable and skilled in software development practices and techniques including but not limited to:
- Source code management -- branching, tagging, and merging
- Strong data management principles, around data architecture, modeling/design, data quality, security, data organization, and operations
- Must have experience with Distribution Centers and Warehouse Management Systems
- Experience in Transportation Management systems, Manhattan Slotting, and Labor Management systems is nice to have
- Experience implementing WM systems into new DCs and/or retrofitting WM systems into existing DCs
- Experience with Proship or other similar rate shopping tools is a big plus
- Communication Skills: Has excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information of the platform in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
- Must have excellent presentation skills to a wide spectrum of audience types (Sr
- Experience building teams for services gateway and CI/CD pipelines from scratch
- Object-oriented design and development
- Java technologies - J2EE and the Spring framework
- Skilled in writing and presenting -- able to craft needed messages, so they are clearly expressed and easily understood
- Has 1 years of supervisory experience and
- 8 yrs experience in software development/ Implementation and delivery
