Job Title: Project Administrator
Location: Clayton, NC 27527
Duration: 12 Months
Remote Possibility: Hybrid work schedule; go into office 3x days in office
Daily Schedule: Monday thru Friday; 1st shift
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
This is a staff position that requires an experienced Project Administrator who can support the business and team delivery. Experience in IT and the various PM tools & processes. Ability to facilitate small/medium projects, lead sessions, develop / maintain project plans.
The incumbent will drive things forward, resolve issues by working with the team and wider business.
Typical task breakdown:
Specific work assignments may be as follows:
- Create / maintain IT project portfolio.
- Create / maintain IT capacity plan.
- Assist in maintaining external team project demand requests.
- Manage software onboarding processes for the team.
- Project manage specific small / medium sized projects.
- Participate / Lead the teams process improvement projects.
Work environment:
- Hybrid work schedule; will be required to go into office 3x days a week.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years exp
- Associates degree with 6-8 years exp
- Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years exp
Technical Skills
(Required)
- Requires 3-5 years of experience in various disciplines gained through previous staff assignments and a bachelor’s degree with technical focus being preferable but not essential.
- Experience with project management software is required and a proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- The incumbent must be a good listener with strong analytical and organizational skills and have strong oral and written communication abilities.
- The incumbent must be highly motivated, self-starter requiring little supervision.
- The incumbent must be able to multitask effectively and lead/facilitate meetings.
