Job Summary:
- This person will be responsible for supporting the Asset Management Services Group.
- Under general supervision, uses advanced knowledge and skills obtained through experience and/or training to assist money managers by executing trades based on product models and guidelines.
- Established procedures and prescribed guidelines are provided to perform a variety of tasks requiring some evaluation, originality or ingenuity in making routine decisions.
- Overlays accounts to pre-defined trading models and executes trades based on product guidelines.
- Analyzes data for outliers of current positions versus models.
- Assists with the review of accounts to ensure they meet the portfolio manager's specifications.
- Creates block trade allocations and communicates with outside money managers regarding execution.
- Researches account errors and provide necessary corrections.
- Updates trading models based on data provided by outside money managers.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- At least 4 years of recent experience wtihin the financial services industry
- General knowledge of the financial market
- Trading experience is a plus but not required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, basic Excel)
