Shift: 11 am - 7:30 am, Mon - Fri
Required: CA CRT, BLS and 2 years of experience
Description:
The Mammography Technologist performs mammography procedures and produces quality diagnostic mammograms policy and in compliance with the MQSA guidelines.
Consistently demonstrates technical competency by obtaining mammography exams using proper positioning and exposure;
Recognizes significant clinical information and historical facts from the patient and the medical records, which may impact the diagnostic exam; reviews data from current and previous examinations to produce a clear written/oral summary of technical findings; consistently completes all required fields of the MRS worksheets including pertinent patient history, pertinent data and correct procedure; complies with ACR and MQSA guidelines; able to assist Radiologist with mammographic wire localizations and stereotactic biopsies; assists Radiologist with interventional breast procedures as directed.

BLS - Required
Complete understanding of technical principles, policies, and procedures required in mammography - Required
Maintains a valid license from the State of California for Radiologic Technologists in Mammography and Radiography - Required
Radiologic Technologist performing mammography and general radiology - Required: 2 Years
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Required
