JOB SUMMARY

The IT Manager will analyze and protect current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training. Will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that computing systems and equipment are operating effectively and efficiently in a local network and cloud environment, and in our internal proprietary inventory program. To be successful in this position IT manager must demonstrate detailed knowledge of the industry’s best practices and evidence of a professional track record of effective technical management, information analysis, and a thorough understanding of computer hardware and software systems. The IT manager will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our operations and a long-term impact on our overall growth.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Running regular checks on network and data security.
• Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
• Provide support across the organization in all areas IT related.
• Programming management – maintain company’s “Hay” program and complete all required and necessary backups.
• Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.
• Designing training programs and workshops for staff.
• Conducting regular system audits.
• Develop new network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs.
• Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff.
• Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.
• Familiar with DAS and Cloud.
• Preserve assets, information security, and control structures.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications; and establishing personal networks.
• Programing language experience with X-Base and FoxPro.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Comply with company policies, safety regulations, and legal guidelines.
• Attend company meetings and events as required.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience.
• Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
• Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows software, including server, office, and exchange.
• Proficient in computer programming. X-Base & FoxPro programming languages preferred.
• Management and leadership skills.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive, professional, cooperative demeanor, conduct, and working relationship with clients, vendors, peers, management, employees, and other individuals who interact with this position.
• Ability to maintain a high level of trust and confidentiality at all times.

SELECTION GUIDELINES

• Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience.
• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, MIS, or similar field plus ten (10) years of proven experience in IT management.
• Any combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully perform the job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $116,000.00 - $121,000.00 per year
