Expectation:
At Estuate, we re looking for an experienced coach to help transition our existing work practices to embrace agile methodology from the top down fully. The agile coach will guide our customers' employees to find the best solutions for their departmental challenges. As an agile coach, one responsibility is to analyze the manufacturing organization's business to educate the business and implement improvements to help streamline processes and create efficiencies. Ultimately, the agile coach will play a key role in long-term strategy across the business, helping our teams deliver better products faster and more efficiently
Objectives of this role:
- Work with business and IT project teams to analyze current systems and processes and design a strategy for adopting agile best practices.
- Guide teams (Business and IT) in using agile techniques to stay on track, fine-tuning their approach to ensure that the overall strategy is being met with the business.
- Lead agile workshops with functional teams from business and IT, as well as for critical stakeholders
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, setting goals and milestones and assigning responsibility
- As an agile coach will be instrumental in driving cultural change by championing an agile mindset.
- As an Agile Coach will also be responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to industry best practices, thereby enhancing our overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate learning and development among businesses through individual and team coaching
- Coach senior managers in agile practices to ensure adoption of best practices from the top down
- Communicate agile principles, scrum practices, and overall operating model across the organization
- Be a Champion by using metrics and other objective measures to ensure that Business and IT teams are aligned on shared objectives.
- Undertake daily follow-ups with both individual business and IT team members to ensure projects are on track and goals are being met
- Hold stand-up meetings with cross-functional teams to review project status
- Ensure the delivery of business value by working closely with the IT team.
Required skills and qualifications
- 8 years of experience as an Agile coach.
- 5 years delivered agile projects in the manufacturing industry.
- 5 years experience as an Agile PM.
- Experience in using scrum, kanban, and scaled agile framework (SAFe)
- Track record of implementing agile techniques in different work cultures and environments
- Experience in running agile projects of varying size and complexity
- Strong skills for leading, educating, and coaching
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Certification as an agile coach or scrum master
- Experience in coaching at large organizations or Fortune 500 companies
