Job Title: Technical - Lab Coordinator

Tax Work Location: Roswell Building 400 GA

Job Description: seeking a laboratory coordinator to work in its commercial product testing lab located in Roswell, GA. The individual will coordinate the lab testing, including test set up procedure, product preparation, lab scheduling, monitoring testing, data collection, file management, and maintaining supplies. In addition, the lab coordinator ensures adherence to lab standards and practices to maximize safety and operational effectiveness.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with researchers on testing needs and product availability
• Receive, prepare products, protocols, and data collection sheets for testing
• Schedule panelists (up to ten) to do testing
• Monitor testing and troubleshoot when necessary
• Collect and enter data. Send results to internal customer
• Manage data documentation in company database
• Help maintain safety in the lab by keeping walkways as clear as possible
• Complete initial data analysis and summarize results in alignment with team member needs

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain testing lab
• Work with team members to ensure the generation of accurate test data
• Document data in Excel and internal company data management system
• Comply with K-C facility and lab safety rules
• Effectively troubleshoot issues, solve problems and take corrective actions
• Communicate project information with researchers in a timely manner

Basic Qualifications:

• High School graduate required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a high-performance team
• Ability to adapt to frequent changes Strong knowledge of computers, Windows, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Ability to trouble-shoot problems as they arise
• Good communication, listening, and leadership skills
• Ability to use tools and lift loads up to 25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years post-high school education in related field
• 2-4 years of related experience
• Some experience working in a lab
• Some experience coordinating team efforts
• Experience Troubleshooting problems, and coordinating various tests at one time
