ESTECO North America is looking for an Application Engineer for its office located in Novi, Michigan. This is a Hybrid position with in-person engagement required for at least 2 days a week.

You will work in the technical team at ESTECO North America and be involved in primarily working on providing technical and application support in field of simulation-based design automation, optimization, and machine learning.

You will be able to:

• Provide application support for ESTECO’s software platforms modeFRONTIER and VOLTA
• Provide support and guidance to customers on use of multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) strategies, optimization algorithms and design exploration strategies
• Provide support and guidance to customers on use of Response Surface Modeling (RSM) technology, machine learning methods, advanced data analytics and statistical data analysis
• Provide support and guidance to customers in optimization problem formulation,
  and simulation model parameterization
• Provide technical and application training to customers for the software platform and
  the underlying mathematical methods

What we need to see🔧:

• 2-4 years of relevant CAE/CFD/Optimization industry experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
• Basic knowledge of Optimization and Machine Learning techniques
• Basic knowledge of statistical data analysis
• Interest in problem solving
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
