Job Description -Position Qualifications:To perform this successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree in human services/health related field preferred.
- (2) Two years experience in the field of behavioral health or similar community service, with at least two years experience with adults with severe and persistent mental illness preferred. Other professional/responsible work experience may be substituted on a case by case basis.
- Valid Alaska Driver's License.
- Basic counseling skills and knowledge of rehabilitative services for SMI adults. Good verbal and writing communication skills. Bilingual Yup'ik/English preferred.
