This role is responsible for maximizing daily workload and keeping machines running efficiently and productively by monitoring the productivity rate and reject rate.

The Process Technician will:

• Remove and install molds according to production requirements
• Maintain records to ensure high-quality production
• Follow SOPs, processes, and training instructions
• Participate in identifying safety and production improvements
• Perform jobs assigned by production supervisor/management
• Assist in sampling and perform first piece inspection
• Assist floor personnel when needed
• Attend all training sessions
• Perform in-process attribute/functional gauging (where required)
• Perform in-process monitoring and reporting
• Keep accurate records of machine downtime when required
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Must have good time management skills
• Must be able to work with limited supervision
• Well-motivated, self-starter
• Mechanical aptitude
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year experience in injection molding setup, or has had training in processing or equivalent is preferred
