The Facility Custodian is responsible for ensuring our facility is safe, clean and presentable inside and outside. This includes daily cleaning of all office spaces, conference rooms, restrooms, break areas and the production facility as needed. Responsibilities also include other duties such as painting, changing light bulbs, unclogging toilets and minor repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a safe manner at all times and escalate safety issues as necessary
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, window-cleaning, and cleaning and disinfecting surfaces
• Removing trash and filling cleaning supplies
• Cleaning of production facility including fans, floors, surfaces and removing cobwebs, dust and dirt from ceiling, beams and pipes
• Monitoring and maintaining appropriate level of supplies in compliance with 5S standards
• Maintain premises to ensure neat, clean exterior
• Shoveling snow and salting walks areas when needed
• Restock all sanitary products for restrooms
• Completing jobs such as unclogging toilets, replacing broken dispensers, hanging pictures, changing light bulbs and painting
• Assembly and moving of furniture as needed
• Communicate any opportunities for improvements to management

Requirements:

• Knowledge of proper cleaning methods
• Experience with hand and power tools including but not limited to screw drivers, hammers, painting supplies, drills, wrenches, levels.
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work at heights
• Ability to work overtime as needed based on the needs of the business.
• Forklift experience a plus!
