Responsibilities:
- Respond to non-emergency calls and provide efficient and immediate medical care to patients
- Administer appropriate medical treatment as needed
- Transport patients safely to medical facilities for dialysis treatment, doctors appointments for evaluation and treatment
- Communicate with medical personnel at the receiving facility to provide information on patient condition and treatment provided
- Document all patient care activities accurately and completely
Experience:
- Previous experience working in an non-emergency transportation.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assess patient conditions accurately
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques to prevent infection transmission
- Ability to perform physical examinations and assess vital signs
- Proficient in using medical equipment such as defibrillators, oxygen tanks, and stretchers
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, their families, and medical personnel
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of emergency medical technician procedures and protocols
- Ability to perform patient assessments quickly and accurately
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive an ambulance safely and efficiently in emergency situations
- Proficient in providing basic life support (BLS) interventions
