Job Description:
Seeking a Utilization Management Representative to serve in a part time flex position. As a flex employee, you will qualify for full time benefits, but must be available to flex your hours downward or upward without notice. Performs a variety of duties to support the pre-certification/prior authorization and utilization management functions. Responsibilities include: Performing pre-admission pre-certification functions in accordance with third party payer requirements; effectively communicating with medical staff, third party payers, and co-workers to promote department efficiency. Assists with day to day clerical/Support activities to ensure accurate and timely flow of information to the UM department, Health Plans and Business Services. Performing and assisting with audits related to UM or Medical Record activities.
Education Qualifications:

• Completion of Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse coursework or equivalent.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Two or more years of medical office experience.

Pay Range
$16.76 - $25.14 / hour

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
