Job Description:
Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant to serve in our family practice at St. Mary's Clinic in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. This LPN or CCMA works Monday through Friday with either a full day off every other week or a half day off each week. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required. Is a professional practicing in a multi-faceted domain of specialty nursing that focuses on health care of individuals, families, groups, communities and entire populations. Provides care that occurs in primary and specialty care outpatient facilities, non-acute community out -patient settings; during tele health nursing encounters that occur in medical offices or by individual nurses in the home. Have authority, accountability and responsibility for nursing practice; makes decisions; and takes action consistent with the obligation to promote health and to provide optimal care recognizing that health is a universal right. Interacts with patients in concert with other health professionals, skillfully uses the nursing process to assess primary concerns, identify problems, analyze and integrate subjective and objective data, decide on a plan of action, apply the appropriate intervention and evaluate the outcome.

• Education as required for licensure.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• LPN: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate the state of Minnesota
• Medical Assistant: current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. (Must pass certification within two attempts)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months. 

Pay Range
$19.35 - $29.02 / hour

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
