Essen Healthcare is a full-service provider of comprehensive wellness and fitness programs for Bronx, NY. We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician assistant to join our team!

Job Duties:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with chronic health conditions or injuries in a clinic or in the community (ex. exercise, sports, weight loss, diabetes, arthritis, etc.)
• Perform physical examinations and collect medical history
• Provide preventative and corrective treatment to patients with chronic health conditions or injuries (e.g. surgery)
• Manage patients’ medication regimen
• Document patient care activities and other patient information
• Follow established medical guidelines (ex. confidentiality) when providing care
• Adhere to current health and medical practices regarding patient care practices
• Maintain accurate patient records (ex. patient charts)

Skills:

must have suturing, Casting and splinting Profcinecy

• Proven experience as nurse practitioner or Physiacn Asssitant in a clinic or hospital setting (1-2 years)
• Excellent knowledge of clinical methods and procedures (diagnostic and therapeutic)
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations (including OSHA) and current best practices (preventing accidents and injuries)
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Strong ethics/moral character
• Team spirit with a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn new skills, processes and technology

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $124,264.19 - $160,000.00 per year
