Overview

Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently reserve and ticket incoming travel requests for employees and guests - to include air, hotel, cars, and trains
- Process changes, cancellations, and schedule changes, including the recalculation of domestic and international airfares following all fare rules
- Manage prompt and accurate responses to telephone and e-mail from internal customers
- Follow department policies and procedures and enforce Corporate Travel Policies and Guidelines
- Understand and properly use airline terminology, codes, fare basis, rules, and industry websites to ensure accurate rule interpretation
- Obtain passports and visas when required for both US and foreign national employees
- Maintain employee travel profiles to include personal and reward program information
- Monitor, and work GDS (Sabre) queues daily to maintain quality control in a timely basis
- Maintain a productive workflow to meet gross monthly productive transactions goals
Requirements
- 4 years extensive Corporate Travel Agent experience
- Experience in domestic and international faring, ticketing procedures, and exchanges
- Advanced skills with Sabre GDS
- Knowledge to fulfill requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, and more)
- Strong communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail, including experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use resources to research issues and handle complex customer inquiries
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional telephone, email skills, and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently, exercising discretion, and judgment
- Ability to work in a team environment supporting management and employees
- High School Diploma
Recommended Qualifications
- International Travel Agent
- Typing speed of 45 WPM
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
