JOB DESCRIPTION:

Associate Technical Writers at DTCC create document and in-product help content that help clients and collaborators to use DTCC products accurately.

They develop knowledge of given DTCC products and capture information on business line strategies and initiatives along with end user needs to apply in developing documentation solutions that optimize the client experience and supports more independent use of DTCC products.

Types of results include user guides, On-Line Help, technical specifications, standard methodologies documents, FAQs and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create documents and in-product help content that help users to use DTCC products most efficiently, ensuring accuracy and quality of all results

Translates technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand, logically organized content

Develops deep understanding of one or more DTCC business areas

Builds and champions relationships with a range of customers

Adheres to defined documentation processes and standards established within DTCC Learning

Follows prescribed templates in Microsoft Office and/or MadCap flare to build document and in-product help content

Keeps up-to-date with and applies emerging & current learning/documentation/curation trends as well as standard methodologies

Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 4 years of related experience

Bachelor's degree preferred with Masters or equivalent experience
