The T&D Manager will be responsible for assessing, planning, developing, and administering firm-wide training and continuing education programs.

  • Consult with firm leaders to understand the business strategy; identify skills gaps, competencies, and learning needs; and design training programs inclusive of employees in all locations to meet strategic goals.
  • Craft our corporate strategy to build capability across the firm and empower our employees to thrive.
  • Utilize metrics to reveal the impact of our training initiatives on performance, retention, and overall success.
  • Oversee content creation and delivery of transformative learning programs.
  • Coordinate the education process for firm employees, including assessing educational needs, planning, developing, and implementing and/or facilitating appropriate training; and evaluating educational outcomes.
  • Analyze trends and user feedback to understand training needs.
  • Explore, select, and adapt cutting-edge technology into our learning landscape.
  • Lead the design of engaging workshops and training modules.
  • Design impactful learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles, utilizing the latest industry trends and best practices.

The T&D Manager will lead the training team in designing, facilitating, and updating general and legal-specific training programs for employees utilizing e-Learning, group, and individual training forums; while enabling employees to learn and successfully use software technology tools and features.

  • Facilitate virtual training designed to motivate participants, encourage engagement, and increase productivity.
  • Create and maintain training materials, including outlines, reference guides, tips, visual aids, eLearning, communications, and training invitations.
  • Provide support for employees during their first day of work, to ensure access to training-related software and resources for self-study.
  • Troubleshoot and provide end user support related to software issues, in partnership with internal and external partners.
  • Update and/or create systems for tracking user progress/attendance.
  • Update and/or create artifacts and processes for evaluating and assessing trainings, both short and long-term.
  • Collaborate with IT and administrative leadership to identify training priorities and strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to evaluate and test system upgrade functionality, as well as other projects, as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, or a related field required.
  • Proven track record with 5 years of developing learning programs in a corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of leadership and coaching that demonstrates an ability to inspire, motivate, and build successful teams.
  • Tech-savvy with experience integrating new learning technologies in virtual environments (e.g., asynchronous self-study and live virtual training).
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training and development.
  • Experience building learning programs from the ground up and/or in partnership with identified vendors required.
  • Knowledge of eLearning software and online training tools.
  • Collaborative bridge builder with demonstrated success in bringing together departments, leaders, and stakeholders to identify, design, facilitate, assess, and revise learning content.
  • Strong understanding of the operational side of learning and what it takes to support a corporate development function behind the scenes.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive).
  • Knowledge of desktop productivity software and document management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong motivational and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and under own direction and initiative.
  • Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
