JOB DESCRIPTION

Communicates with resident family members or designated representatives regarding resident condition, change in condition, emergencies, or other related circumstances

Directs and performs resident care, including assisting with ADL’s, administration of medications, completes pre-admission assessments, monthly summaries, and care plans.

Responsible for all care of residents - quarterly care plans, health care appointments, completion of lab work and other medical procedures, and ordering of resident medications.

Addresses resident requests, complaints, or grievances.

Helps in hiring new CNAs and CMAs, trains, directs, conducts yearly evaluations, and disciplines or discharges members of the nursing department.

Develops in-services for staff with the Executive Director in accordance with state of Nebraska regulations

Performs competency testing for Medication Aides, both upon hire and annually.

With the help of the Nurse Leads - maintain the nursing schedule

Manage and direct two Nurse Leads

Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills, and education

Experience:

· At least 2 years experience in Assisted Living, Skilled Care or Home Health

· Management experience- 1 year (Preferred)
