Accounting Technical Liaison

Job Summary: The Accounting Technical Liaison serves as liaison between Accounting and Finance teams, internal teams, including IT as well as outside vendors.

Job Duties: As the Accounting Technical Liaison, your job duties focus on driving scalability and implementing IT-driven initiatives to ensure our financial operations remain agile, efficient, and forward-thinking.

Responsibilities:

• Serves as the primary liaison between the Accounting and IT departments, fostering collaboration and communication.
• Translates business requirements from the Accounting team into technical specifications for the IT department.
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement scalable solutions for financial systems and processes.
• Develop testing scenarios and conduct UAT, user acceptance testing.
• Provide training and support to Accounting staff on new systems and technologies.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with IT for timely resolutions.
• Maintain accounting data in Salesforce and Nav required for automation.
• Create reports and perform ad hoc analysis.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with exposure to IT-related projects.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
• Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
