Job Title: Director of Information Systems
Location: Naperville, IL
Job Type and Duration: Direct hire
Pay rate: $140,000 - $170,000 plus 10% bonus
POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Information Systems is responsible for strategic and operational leadership of the company's enterprise application systems. This position provides day-to-day leadership to an implementation project team. The director is responsible for applying experience and knowledge to provide direction, making decisions and solving complex problems to ensure the project move the business forward while managing an integrated team to accomplish the desired results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop relationships across a multi-location organization and listen to the needs of internal and external customers.
- Work closely with other team members on various project and initiatives.
- Encourage open communication with employees and business partners in an effort to identify opportunities to improve processes and methodologies.
- Hire, coach, mentor develop, and retain team members.
- Ensure team members are properly trained to handle day-to-day activities.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices and new product releases.
- Provide leadership to multiple levels of employees and foster relationship building across departments to solve complex business problems.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with department heads to ensure smooth transitions from project management to implementation.
- Ability to provide strategic analysis and consult with senior leaders.
- Ability to identify, define and execute opportunities for improvement and recommend alternative solutions to process inefficiencies.
- BA or BS degree in a technology field, business administrations or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years' related experience.
- 7 years' experience in an IT Business Analyst role
- Ten plus years' experience in ERP (Manufacturing) software.
- Exceptional ability to work with and lead teams of co-workers.
- Experience presenting to a variety of levels including senior management.
- Ability to blend functional knowledge with technical knowledge to create intuitive solutions to business opportunities
- Experience with building positive relationships and gaining trust with business partners
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with ability to customize messaging to varying audiences
- Ability to multi-task in a challenging, fast paced, matrix management organization. Ability to make decisions based on a broad range of issues, within and outside the control of the day-to-day working environment.
