Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP.
- Participating in the budgeting and forecasting process, including the development of financial models and analysis.
- Providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
- Collaborating with the Controller and other members of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
- Reviewing and improving current accounting systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assisting in the preparation of year-end audit and tax schedules.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a leadership role.
- Comprehensive understanding of GAAP.
- Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
